If you plan to build close to your boundary or intend to cut into the party wall during your building work then you may need to comply with the requirements of the Party Wall Act (1996).
Alternatively, if a neighbour serves you a notice under the Act then you will usually be entitled to instruct your own surveyor and we can act as adjoining owners surveyor in this situation.
